This library of packages provides a set of Java implemented machine learning algorithms. These algorithms originated in the MLC++: Machine Learning for C++ library created by Kohavi, et al. The MLC++ library is available at http://www.sgi.com/tech/mlc/.

This is a first iteration version of the MLJ library for the KDD research group being developed by James Louis, James Plummer, and Matt Durst as academic projects.

The purpose of this Java library is to provide the capability of using these algorithms over multiple operating systems for parallel computation and genetic algorithms.
